OCEAN STATE OIL EVENTS HIGHLIGHT WAYS TO REDUCE

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI – Dozens of Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut fleet professionals attended two March 26, 2013 events to learn about ways to reduce
operating costs and improve vehicle efficiencies. The events, held by Ocean State Oil, a premier source for quality lubricants in southern New England, were the first in a series
of spring/summer events that will be put on with support from Chevron Lubricants, maker of the Delo® brand of technologically advanced engine oils, lubricants and coolants.
At the free lunch and dinner events held in Narragansett, RI and Westport, MA, Edgar Hansen, Deck Boss and Chief Engineer of the fishing vessel Northwestern met with
attendees, signing autographs, taking photos and talking about why he relies on Chevron Delo lubricants to protect his machinery.
Attendees also learned from guest speaker Merritt Wikle, a Chevron Support Engineer,
about the impact of federal mandates for heavy-duty diesel engines and emissions, and ways to reduce operating costs, improve vehicle efficiencies and go further with
Chevron's Delo product family, including engine oils, premium lubricants and extended life coolants.
